The doctors at Genesis Dental Group offer comprehensive dental services.  With doctors specializing in various aspects of dentistry, they are able to provide an array of different services in-house, decreasing the need to refer patients out to specialists, and decreasing the amount of time between treatments.

Dr. Cadalso has been a resident of South Orange County since moving to Southern California in 1968.  A graduate of Santiago High School and then California State University in Fullerton.  Dr. Cadalso was a Masters Degree candidate in Developmental Biology before attending the University of Southern California (USC) for his doctorate in dental surgery received in 1982. Since his licensure in 1982 as a general dentist in California Dr. Cadalso has received additional training in Oral Surgery and Anesthesia and he holds an Intra-Venous Conscious Sedation Certificate in the state of California. In 2016 Dr. Cadalso obtained his Masters Degree in Oral Facial Pain and Oral Medicine at University of Southern California.

Dr. Pizzolo is a native of Southern California having graduated from Servite high school before receiving his B.S. degree in Biology from California State University at Fullerton.  Dr. Pizzolo then attended the University of the Pacific Dental School receiving his doctorate of dental surgery degree in 1978.  Since then he has practiced Orange County in the cities of Fountain Valley and Laguna Hills prior to joining our office in our current Mission Viejo location in 1999.  He currently resides in San Juan Capistrano with his wife Peggy.

Dr. Cao graduated from the University of California, Irvine majoring in biological sciences.  She later received her doctorate from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Dentistry, followed by completion of the orthodontics specialty from The University of Texas, San Antonio. Pushing further to demonstrate her knowledge and clinical skills, she earned the honor of Diplomate status with the American Board of Orthodontics, the highest level of professional achievement.  Dr. Cao is an active member within the dental community as noted by her professional affiliations.

Dr. Diana Zardouz earned her BA degree in Economics with Double Honors from UCLA.  Because of her interest in art and science, she decided to pursue a career in dentistry soon after.  Dr. Diana began working for Kaplan Test Prep to help teach the DAT (Dental Admissions Test), and loved every minute of it.  She then obtained her dental degree at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, and received Dean’s List recognition during her time there. Dr. Diana was even able to launch the USC Chapter of Operation Smile, an organization that offers free surgeries for children with cleft lip/palates around the world.  During her spare time, Dr. Diana enjoys working out at the gym, visiting art museums, traveling, volunteering, and helping with charity events.

Born and raised in Southern California, Dr. Curtis was a 1993 graduate of Los Alamitos High School.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences at the University of California Santa Barbara in 1998 and graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 2004.  He completed a 1 year general practice residency at the West Los Angeles VA Hospital in 2005 and worked in the general practice of dentistry in Long Beach until 2009. 

Dr. Curtis found a passion for endodontics in dental school at UCLA which led him to seek a specialist education and certification in Oregon.  From 2009 to 2012 Dr. Curtis was engaged in a fellowship and endodontics residency at the Oregon Health and Science University in Portland.  His joint research project with the director of the post-doctoral program at OHSU involving modern materials and methods in edodontics was published in 2012.  Upon receiving his specialist certification he returned to Orange County to practice.  Dr. Curtis is known for the sincere care that he shows his patients.  He is gratified by relieving his patients from pain and saving their natural teeth when they are at risk from pulpal disease.

During his free time Dr. Curtis is an avid fisherman and free-diver.  He also enjoys standup paddleboarding, kayaking, skiing/snowboarding, playing guitar and piano as well as drawing, painting and sculpting.

Dr. Chad Tomazin received  his Bachelor of Arts degree from University California Davis in 2004 and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery from USC in 2004.  At that point Dr. Tomazin entered into and completed  the Loma Linda University Dental Anesthesiology Program, a two year post doctorate residency program in dental and medical anesthesiology.  Dr. Tomazin has had extensive training providing anesthesia services for patients as young as 11 months of age.  His dental background offers the ability to modify the anesthesia for the needs of the dentist as well as the patient.  

Dr. Tomazin is currently a part-time faculty member of the Loma Linda University Dental Anesthesiology Program as an instructor in the simulation center for dental anesthesia residents.  This allows him to keep up to date on all the current and upcoming trends in his field.
